The Latest News Millennium Maxwell House Hotel

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame has contracted with the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee to establish the Millennium Maxwell House as a destination for traveling Country Music and Rock Fans who wish to stay in a music themed hotel and enjoy viewing authentic artifacts from Elvis, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. The Maxwell Hotel is making music themed transistions with authentic stage clothing, photography and artwork within the lobby area in its first phase of decoration in 2008.



Trailer Choir and the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame provided some unique "eye-candy" for the band Trailer Choir at a recent Nashville concert at On The Rocks. Trailer Choir is signed to Toby Keith's label Show Dog. The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame created a "honky tonk barn palooza" with authentic artifacts from their collection. The Levys and Trailer Choir performed to a sold out crowd until the early morning hours in keeping with true Nashville tradition.



The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame Exhibit at the St. Louis RV Dealers Convention

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame will be providing an exhibit of authentic artifacts from Elvis & Friends in the Country Music Community for The Midwest Gateway RV Dealer Association in St. Louis. The event is hosting The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame's exhibits for patrons of the RV Dealers Convention. The convention will be held at the America's Center. The exhibit is in celebration of Elvis's Birthday on January, 8th.

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame Rocks the Minnesota State Fair

The Honky Hall of Fame & Rock-N-Roll Roadshow exhibited to overwhelming crowds for twelve days at the Minnesota State Fair. Beautiful weather, enthusiastic crowds and an incredible venue site made for a winning combination from Opening Day (August 23) to Labor Day. Thousands of patrons viewed the authentic artifacts from Elvis, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Roy Rogers and numerous other country music recording artists. The highlights of the exhibit as stated from fans were the Elvis’s personal effects and the flamboyant Nudie suits from Marty Robbins, Ray Price, Bill Anderson and Lefty Frizzell. Stephen M. Shutts stated “after seven years of touring, I have never seen such overwhelming response from the fans as at this State Fair. Visitors to the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame were the Hacienda Brothers, Deke Dickerson, Dale Watson and Tommy Horton.



The Latest In June

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame successfully completed a fast paced tour schedule in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Chicago in June. The exhibit focused on the staggering career of Elvis inclusive of an Elvis 1972 Cadillac Limo at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Grammy Award Winning Robert Reynolds and Paul Deakin of the Mavericks and other notable musicians from Nashville provided as the Soaring Eagle Casino Band of choice for multiple Elvis tribute artists. The three winning tribute artists took home $4,000 in cash prizes. Gettysburg Harley-Davidson played host to the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame for the 7th Birhtday Bash held annually at the dealership. Finally the Mayors Office of Chicago presented the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame to the annual Taste of Chicago. The "Taste" drew 300,000 patrons. Many fans of Kenny Rogers, Sara Evans, Craig Morgan, Country Music and of course Elvis visited the 300 artifact exhibit at the base of the Chicago Skyline. Most notable of the viewers according to Honky Tonk Hall of Fame, President Stephen M. Shutts was the young patrons. Stephen stated "a vast majority of the intrigued viewers of the collection especially the Elvis artifacts were patrons approximately 15-25 years of age. The new Elvis generation is carrying the torch of interest in large and youthful numbers" according to Shutts.



The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame & Brooks & Dunn

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame recently worked with Brooks & Dunn on the Brooks & Dunn & Alan Jackson Tour by creating displays with Brooks & Dunn memorabilia at the Toyota & Brooks & Dunn Kiosks. The Kiosks were created for the Toyota & Brooks & Dunn partnership for a customized Toyota Tundra giveaway to a lucky fan. The display cases were outfited with unique Brooks & Dunn photos and collectibles from their archives while on tour location in Virginia Beach. The cases continue to tour in North America to coincide with Brooks & Dunn's multi-year partnership with Toyota.



Honky Tonk Hall of Fame & The Tag Art Gallery

The Honky Tonk Hall of Fame provided several Country Music artifacts for Tag Art Gallery under the direction of art gallery owner Jerry Dale McFadden. The artifacts including a Cowboy Copas Nudie suit, Jim Reeves early career Turk shirt and Patsy Cline Stage Boots were part of the "Nashville Radio" Presentation with New Paintings by Jon Langford. Many music industry personalities showed for the event including Musician and Historian Marty Stuart. The exhibition was open from June 9th to June 30th.
